Manpreet Kaur’s boyfriend, Sunny Cheema, met her at a party hosted by one of their common friends following which they started seeing each other. In an interview, Manpreet talked about her relationship with Sunny and said,
We met at a party and Punjabi songs were playing. That’s where we interacted. I had seen him earlier and never liked. He had a typical accent and I hated it. But after the house party, we bonded over paranthas and our Punjabi background.”

Manpreet Kaur started her career as a speech and drama trainer at a UK-based firm. In 2016, she appeared in Pune Style week. In 2017, Manpreet contested in a beauty pageant Mrs Maharashtra and won the title.

In 2017, she participated in fbb Colors Femina Miss India Pageant. Subsequently, in 2018, she walked the runway at the Lakme Fashion Week. Next, in 2019, she worked in The Kapil Sharma Show.

She has also appeared in the Haryanvi Music video Maa Ne Bandha Dora 2 alongside her boyfriend Sunny Cheema. In 2019, Manpreet and Sunny Cheema participated in MTV Love School, a youth-based reality show and they won the reality show. In an interview, Sunny Cheema shared his experience of winning the reality show and said,
It was just amazing. Honestly, we were never bothered about competition or the title. We went on the show to sort out our issues in our relationships. When we met the other couples, saw their problems, it also helped us strengthen our bond. And today, we are in a much better space. Winning the show is just an added incentive to our experience.”
Manpreet Kaur participated as a wildcard entry in the Indian bride hunting show ‘Mika Di Vohti’ in 2022. The show was aired on Star Bharat and streamed online on the Disney+ Hotstar app.
