I asked Jaismine if she was serious about boxing. She was very shy, but on that day she sounded determined. I told her and her mother that I would get her into boxing.”

  • In an interview, Jaismine shared that she had to convince her grandfather to allow her to make a career in boxing. Her grandfather, Chandraban, who is an army man and a wrestler gave her permission, and then her uncle started her training in boxing.
