Dhinchak Pooja is a 25-years-old (born on 16 December 1993) girl from Uttar Pradesh, who currently resides in New Delhi. Her real name is Pooja Jain, but she uses the pseudonym “Dinchak Pooja” as she finds herself as someone with talent, beauty, and attitude. In July 2016, she posted her first song “Swag Wali Topi” after which got instant fame and high amount of views as well, though more then most of them gave her negative reviews. But, she took it positively and started believing that she can sing too.
After the roaring success of her debut track, she released a series of cringe pop songs such as – “Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj,” “Daaru Daaru Daaru,” and “Dilon Ka Shooter,” which all received much more negative reviews than she could have expected. No surprise! the comment section of her songs on YouTube has been disabled.

Career
Pooja did her schooling from Model School, Rohtak and is a Post Graduate in English (Hons.) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. In 2016, she gave a try as a YouTube singer and surprising became an internet sensation, after which she has never looked back. She always had a dream to became an actress and her desire to do so brought her to the Bigg Boss 11 house.
Controversies
- In June 2017, a Twitter user, Mohit Singh, tagged the Delhi Traffic police in a post and complained about Dhinchak Pooja riding her scooter without a helmet, during the shoot of her song “Dilon Ka Shooter”. The Delhi Police swiftly addressed his complaint and assured him to take action against Dhinchak Pooja for violating the traffic rules.
- In July 2017, a YouTube user by the name “Kathappa Singh” had presented a copyright notice to YouTube on Dhinchak Pooja’s videos and after reviewing the claim, after which YouTube deleted her videos.
