Aparshakti Khurana is an Indian actor, radio jockey, and a TV presenter. He is the younger brother of the Bollywood actor ‘Aayushmann Khurrana.’

Aparshakti Khurana was born on 18 November 1987 (age 31 years; as in 2018) in Chandigarh, India. After completing his schooling, he received a degree in Law from Chandigarh. During his school days, he wanted to be a cricket anchor or host. Aparshakti was the sports captain of his school and he also captained the “Under-19 Haryana Cricket Team.”

Aparshakti Khurana got married to Aakriti Ahuja, a financial analyst and consultant on 7 September 2014. The couple met at Shiamak Davar dance classes.

Career
Aparshakti started his career as a lawyer. He was not happy with his profession and began to work as a Radio Jockey with “Big FM” in Delhi. Thereafter, he joined the Dramatech theatre group in IIT, Delhi to his expressions and voice modulation. He made his TV debut in 2014 as a commentator in the “Box Cricket League.” Subsequently, he made his film debut with the Bollywood film “Saat Uchakkey” (2016) in which he played the role of Khappe.

Aparshakti has hosted many TV shows including “You Have Been Warned” (2017), “Super Night with Tubelight” (2017), “Om Shanti Om” (2017) and a web series “Bigg Buzz.”

In 2016, Aparshakti co-wrote and composed a video song “Ik Vaari” along with his brother Ayushmann Khurrana.
He played the role of Omkar in Aamir Khan‘s sports drama “Dangal.”

He has also featured in a few short films like “Popcon” (2014), and “Khoon Mein Hai” (2017).
In 2018, Khurana made a guest appearance on MTV’s reality show “Ace Of Space.”
In addition to hosting and acting, he has also featured in various TV commercials like “Philips Trimmer.”
