She has a younger brother Adam Levy who was the District Attorney of Putnam County for two terms and is a judge on the bench for the TV show Tribunal Justice. Her stepfather, Jerry Sheindlin, was an arbitrator on The People’s Court. Jamie Hartwright has three step-siblings: Gregory Sheindlin and Nicole Sheindlin are lawyers, whereas Jonathan Sheindlin is a retinal surgeon.
