She completed her education at Nur Niwas High School, Hisar and FC School, Hisar. In 2003, she attained a bachelor of arts degree from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. During her graduation period, she was an NCC cadet. Later, she pursued a master’s degree in Political Science from Fateh Chand Women’s College, Hisar. Throughout her student life, she had an inclination towards sports, and she was even a part of the Shooting team at her university. She represented her university in various Inter-University Shooting Competitions.

Career

Naina Singh Chautala contested in the 2014 Haryana Assembly Elections from Dabwali constituency, on an Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) ticket and emerged as the winner with 43.6% votes. The Chautala family fielded Naina Chautala in the 2014 assembly elections because her husband, Ajay Chautala and her father-in-law, Om Prakash Chautala were sentenced to jail in Junior Basic Trained (JBT) teachers scam in 2013. Her husband’s absence led her to be a new representative of the Dabwali constituency. Dushyant Singh Chautala formed a new political party in December 2018, after a split from the Indian National Lok Dal. Naina Singh Chautala joined her son’s newly formed political party called the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP). She then contested in the 2019 Haryana Assembly Elections from Badhra constituency as a JJP candidate, and got 52938 votes, winning with a comfortable majority and ending Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s decade-old rule in the state.
