After earning his graduation degree, Kumar Saurabh actively participated in local theatre shows in Kathiar, Bihar.
Kumar Saurabh moved to Mumbai from Bihar in 2014. He started his acting career by appearing in some episodes of the television show ‘Crime Patrol’ on Sony Entertainment Television. In 2015, he made his acting debut with the television serial ‘Tere Sheher Mein’ on Star Plus.

In 2016, Kumar Saurabh made his Bollywood debut with the film “Laal Rang” where he played the character of ‘Shani Baba’ alongside lead actor Randeep Hooda.
He then appeared in the movie ‘Veerapan’ as Ganga Man, and later, he played the role of Goonga in the film ‘Dongri Ka Raja.’
In 2017, Kumar Saurabh acted in the short film ‘The Foreigner’ directed by Ram Gopal Varma and played the character of Shorty. The same year, he played the role of ‘Diljala’ in the film ‘Baaraat Company.’ In 2018, Kumar Saurabh had a minor appearance in the Bollywood movie ‘Baaghi 2,’ directed by Ahmad Khan. In the film, he played the role of Chhotu. He then appeared in the short film ‘Sax by Julius’ in the same year. In 2019, Kumar Saurabh played the character of Farooq Neighbour in the film ‘Blank,’ alongside veteran Indian actor Sunny Deol. He portrayed Chooha in the Hindi film ‘Shamshera’ in 2022.
In 2023, Kumar Saurabh played the role of Raju in the film ‘Mumbaikar.’ In the 2023 film ‘UT 69,’ he played the role of Ashraf.
