Dancer
In 2008, Vaishnavi Patil participated in a dance competition called ‘Boogie Woogie’ season 4, where Javed Jaffari was the judge. She won that season and came back as a wild card in ‘Boogie Woogie’ season 5 and won again.
In 2009, Vaishnavi Patil participated in the dance show ‘Super Dancer’ on Sony Entertainment Television and won. In the same year, she participated in ‘India’s Got Talent’ Season 1 and was a finalist. In 2010, she took part in another dance show called ‘DID Little Masters’ and became the 2nd runner-up. In the same year, she participated in ‘Nachle Ve With Saroj And Terrence’ and stood 1st Runner-Up.
Vaishnavi Patil participated in ‘Etv Super Dancer’ in 2010 and ‘Dholkichya Talavar’ in 2011 and stood 1st Runner-Up. In 2012, she won the dance reality show titled ‘Dance Ke Superstars’ on Zee TV. In 2013, she won the dance reality show ‘Pogo Amazing Kids Awards. In 2018, she participated in DID Little Masters as a team leader, and one of her teammates won the trophy that season. She won the dance reality show ‘Dam Dama Dam,’ which aired on DD Sahyadri channel in 2019.

In 2015, she participated in ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ season 8 with Faisal Khan, and they won the title. She also won other dance shows like India’s Got Talent, Dholkichya Talavar, and Nachle Ve. Since then, she has been part of many dance shows and platforms as both a dancer and a choreographer. In 2021, she participated as a choreographer in the dance show ‘Dance Deewane.’

Controversy
Vaishnavi Patil, along with two others, was accused of shooting a Lavani video inside Lal Mahal in Pune in May 2022. The Lal Mahal monument is where the Maratha idol Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj spent his childhood. People and local leaders criticized Vaishnavi for performing a ‘sensuous’ dance ‘Lavani’ in a historical place. As a result, an FIR was filed against her and the other two under sections 295 and 198 of the Indian Penal Code.
