Bittu Banwala was born as ‘Bittu Baldeva Banwala’ in village Darodi, Narwana Tehsil, Jind District, Haryana. In 2018, Bittu’s maternal grandfather and maternal uncle made him join the Narwal Kabaddi and Sports Academy located in Rohtak, Haryana after which Bittu started to participate in National leagues and championships.

In 2022, Bittu Banwala represented the team ‘Hampi Heroes’ in the Yuva Kabaddi Series Monsoon Edition which was held in Ranchi. He played 25 matches in the tournament and earned 63 tackle points and the team won the gold medal in the tournament finals.
In 2023, Bittu Banwala was signed by the Mumbai-based Kabaddi team ‘U Mumba’ under the New Young Player (NYP) category for season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League. He played 5 matches in the tournament and held 10 points along with a tackle strike rate of 40%.

- Initially, Bittu Banwala used to learn by watching the kabaddi players in his village, and he started playing regional kabaddi matches which are also called Haryana-style kabaddi, and he used to participate in circle kabaddi matches; however, he later realised that there was not enough scope in this style of kabaddi.
- During his initial days, Bittu used to play at the left corner defending position and he was also a raider; however, due to the increased number of left corner defenders and raiders, his coach asked him to shift his position to right corner defender.
- Bittu’s favourite kabaddi players are Pardeep Narwal, Ravinder Pahal, and Maninder Singh.
- He is close friends with kabaddi players Rinku Sharma and Surinder Singh.
- Bittu smokes hookah and often shares photos (in which he could be seen smoking hookah) on social media.
