Muhammad Sohrab Mirza was born in 1985 (age 38 years; as of 2023) in Hyderabad, Telangana. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce at St. Mary’s College in Hyderabad, he went to the UK to pursue an MBA degree.

Sohrab Mirza and Sania Mirza were childhood friends. Their families have known each other for three generations. While they were studying at Saint Mary’s College in Hyderabad, they fell for each other and began dating. In a media conversation, Sohrab once shared that there was no competition between him and Sania. Sohrab mentioned,
She was a celebrity for the world, but for me she was a simple girl. I also run a decent business, so there was no competition between us.”
They dated each other for around six years.
Ex-Fiancé
In July 2009, Sohrab Mirza and Sania Mirza got engaged.
However, after six months in January 2010, Sania Mirza broke her engagement with Sohrab Mirza to marry Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, reportedly, against the decision of her family. Soon after the engagement ended, Sohrab shared in a media interview that they ended their relationship due to their incompatibility. Sohrab Mirza said,
Differences between us cropped up right from the word go. After the engagement, we realised we were completely incompatible.”
In 2010, Sania Mirza married Shoaib Malik, and in 2018, they had a son named Izhaan Mirza Malik.
Career
He runs the bakery chain ‘Universal Bakers’ in Hyderabad. Sohrab is an active member of the International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences (AIESEC).
