Jamal Labranch is the step brother of R&B singer August Alsina. He is a brother-to-four, including his sister, Netia La’Branch. Alsina left home when he was a child because of disagreements with his mother. Their feud lasted several years until they reunited at a concert in Houston in 2017. The singer sang to his mother while embracing her in front of a crowd of thousands while on his Don’t Matter tour on July 29, 2017. His brother, on July 18, 2022, August Alsina wished his mother a very happy birthday alongside whom fans believe to be the same guy he introduced at the end of The Surreal Life. ‘I’m so proud to be Sheila’s boy,’ August said.

Jamal Labranch’s Brother
Jamal Labranch’s has three brother named, August Alsina, Melvin La’Branch III and Travis Labranch. Melvin La’Branch III, was shot and killed on August 31, 2010, he became more committed to his music, and relocated to Atlanta in 2011.
Travis Labranch is known as “Kitchen Bae” and often shares his recipe on Instagram and cooks everything from chicken to beef tacos. His most famous brother, August Alsina was born on September 3, 1992 known for his debut extended play (EP) Downtown: Life Under the Gun in 2013, the latter released under The-Dream’s Radio Killa Records and Def Jam Recordings.
Jamal Labranch And August Alsina Nieces
During the summer of 2018, August announced on social media the loss of his sister-in-law, Chandra. On Christmas Day, she died from cancer after being engaged to his late brother Melvin.
His nieces Chaylin, 14, Amaiya, 13, and Kayden, 11, were then placed under August’s legal guardianship. A prominent role is played by August Alsina’s nieces in the documentary, State of EMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina.
