Her head was shaved and sealed in concrete while her body was dismembered into 10 parts and placed in plastic bags. The corpse was too rotten to provide any clues as to what killed the person. The accusation against Obara states that he drugged a drink, raped, and ultimately murdered Blackman in a Zushi apartment. Obara has maintained his innocence, claiming the drugs were voluntarily self-administered.
