Rachel Lee is best known the mastermind behind the robberies, served 16 months in prison for her role in the Hollywood heists. Despite nearly a decade passing since the robberies, she’s acknowledged her role in invading the homes of celebrities she once admired. In October 2018, Lee graduated from cosmetology school with a focus on hairstyling. She is also in the process of writing a screenplay for a TV drama. Rachel Lee is the ringleader of the group, lived in Calabasas with her mother. After being expelled from Calabasas High School, she attended Indian Hills High School. Tamayo was awarded a creative arts scholarship upon graduating.
Later, after stealing $85 worth of merchandise from Sephora with Diana Tamayo, Lee was fined and put on probation for petty theft. According to Nick Prugo, her fellow burglar, Lee was obsessed with reality television shows. Eventually, toward the end of their crime spree together),Lee moved in with her father in Las Vegas.

After being sentenced to 16 months, Lee seemed to want Distance herself from the crimes,which might be why she refused participating in the project. The documentary ended with a message stating that Courtney Ames, Rachel Lee and Roy Lopez Jr were all contacted regarding the accusations against them but none of them agreed to give any comment.
Even though she was unwilling to participate in the project at first, it seems like she and Haines have a similar outlook now when they think about the past. Yes, what happened was really bad, but it also showed them what they needed to change.
“As a teen, I was chasing love in all the wrong places and by the time I realized it was too late and I was in prison. I truly feel prison was a blessing in disguise—the best thing that ever happened to me. It made me realize you can only trust yourself at the end of the day,” she told US Weekly in 2018.
She continued, “If I could do it all over again I would’ve made the right choices instead of the wrong ones. I would’ve changed a lot.”
Lee graduated from cosmetology school in 2018. Supposedly, she is working on a screenplay for a TV drama. But there is no word on whether or not she has been successful. It is unknown if she drew inspiration from her own personal experiences.
Interestingly, she did cross paths with actor Emma Watson, who starred in Sofia Coppola’s 2013 film Bling Ring. She seized the opportunity to say hello while both were attending the 2017 Super Bowl.
“Hi, my name is Rachel. I just wanted to introduce myself because you were in a movie based upon my life. I actually had the chance to work on the movie but I didn’t feel comfortable at the time,” she told US Weekly. “And she put out her hand and said, ‘It’s nice to meet you.’”
