Deepti Shreyas Talpade (married name) was born as ‘Deepti Desai’ in 1981 (age 38 years; as in 2019) in Thane, Mumbai. She did her schooling from Sou A. K. Joshi English Medium School in Thane, Mumbai. She went to the University of Mumbai to pursue her Masters in Clinical Psychology.

She made her debut as a producer with the Marathi movie Sanai Choughade (2008).
She has produced Marathi and Hindi films such as Poshter Boyz (2014), Baji (2015), Poster Boys (2017). She has also produced a TV serial by the name “Tumcha Aamcha Same Asta” (2015-2016), which aired on Star Pravah. She also made her Television debut with it.
She is a director at the production company “Affluence Movies Private Limited” and is the co-founder of it. She founded the Affluence Movies Private Limited in 2007 with her husband Shreyas Talpade.

- She first met Shreyas as a student during a college event in 2000, where Shreyas was invited as a celebrity guest. Deepti was still a student at that time.

- Deepti and Shreyas had gone for a vacation in Hong Kong when they heard that the surrogate mother of their baby had premature labour. So, the couple immediately cancelled their plans and flew back to Mumbai.
