Ludwika Paleta is a Polish actress who is well known for her award-winning role as Maria Joaquina Villaseñor in the late 1980s Mexican telenovela Carrusel, this popular actress received a second TVyNovela Award for her role in María la del Barrio. She is fluent in Spanish, Polish and English. She also joined actor Aarón Díaz as spokespeople for Calvin Klein in Mexico. In 2012, she starred as Estefania Bouvier de Castañón in Abismo de pasion as part of a special participation.

Ludwika Paleta Acting Career
Ludwika’s outstanding performance impressed the casting directors, leading to an offer for her first television role in Carrusel (1989). Paleta became a celebrity overnight with her character. Three years later, in 1992, she returns to TV in what she calls her favorite role yet – El abuelo y yo opposite Gael García Bernal. Roles in Huracán, Amigas y Rivales, and Mujer de Madera soon followed.
Her most recent work in television was in the Endemol-Telefe produced Los Exitosos Perez. Ludwika Paleta has been living in Mexico since she was a child and has gained a lot of popularity there. In an interview, Ludwika Paleta declared that although she loves both Mexico and Poland, she doesn’t see herself living outside of Mexico anytime soon.
