Wes Allen is an Alabama state representative, endorsed the Texas-led legal effort in late 2020 to try to get the Supreme Court to overturn President Joe Biden’s victories in four states. He will be elected Alabama secretary of state, defeating Democratic candidate Pamela Laffitte. In addition, he is a former probate judge serving as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from the 89th district. He assumed office on November 7, 2018.
