He did his schooling from Delhi’s Cambridge Foundation School and went to Maharaja Surajmal Institute to purse BCA. Thereafter, he enrolled himself at Janakpuri’s IITM to pursue MCA. After completing his graduation, Varun worked in an MNC in Delhi as a software developer. After a while, he came to know about Mr. India pageant. He left his job, and started preparing for the pageant.

Career
Varun started his modelling career by participating in Mr. India beauty pageant. He won the title “Peter England Mr Perfect Body” in the contest, and subsequently, appeared for the auditions of MTV Roadies X5. Verma cleared the auditions and got selected for the show. In the show, he was a part of Prince‘s gang.
