Kira Narayanan is an Indian actress, singer, and a sports anchor. She is widely known for playing the role of ‘Princess Jasmine’ in the stage musical version of the Disney Classic “Aladdin” (1992), produced by BookMyShow. She grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Kira decided to become an actress when she was just 13 years old. She attended an international school in Kuala Lumpur. While in school, Kira actively participated in school musicals. She also learned Carnatic Music and Bharatanatyam to stay connected to her roots. After completing her schooling, Kira did B.Sc. in Psychology from University College London. Thereafter, she did a Diploma in Acting for Film from New York Film Academy. She has also received training in acting from London’s National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. In 2018, Naranayan relocated to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting.
