Since childhood, she was inclined towards acting and secured herself a role in a cough syrup commercial at a very young age. At the age of seven, before making her debut on the big screen, she played the role of Cosette in the Broadway musical ‘Les Misérables’ for two years.

Telefilm

Lacey Chabert made her telefilm debut with A Little Piece of Heaven (1991) in which she played the role of Princess, aka ‘Hazal.’ Later, she gained popularity when she started appearing in a series of Hallmark Channel’s telefilms. She starred in Hallmark’s film series All of My Heart (2015-2018) in which she played the role of Jenny Fintley, a young woman who inherits a house in Bucks County and develops an unexpected friendship with her co-owner.

In October 1996, she was among the celebrities who dished out meals in the third-annual Celebrity Server Dinner, with proceeds benefiting the Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, a harm reduction organization in the US. On October 11, 1998, Lacey paid for meals worth 250 USD in the fifth-annual Celebrity Server Dinner, which was held at the Palm Restaurant in Los Angeles. The proceeds benefitted Victory over Violence, a movement that inspired people to identify and counteract the root causes of violence. In 2011, she was associated with Angel 34, a non-profit organization that helps kids struggling with cancer.  In 2020, Lacey Chabert took part in the virtual fundraising event “Hope Shines No-Show Glow,” organized by Rochester Hills-based New Day Foundation for Families. The event featured celebrity appearances, musical entertainment, a silent auction, and stories from families facing cancer who were served by New Day.
