Gregg Leakes is an American Real Estate Investor, Consultant and Reality Star who was born in Brooklyn, New York and brought-up in Atlanta, Georgia. He gained wide recognition when he appeared on the reality TV Show ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ as the husband of NeNe Leakes, a Reality Star.
He gained himself fame as a Reality Star when he acted as the voice of reason of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ for which his wife worked there for 8 subsequent years. The couple had divorced in 2011 and after two years they remarried and appeared on several reality shows. They also did their second wedding which was covered by Bravo TV under a spin-off ‘I Dream of Nene: The Wedding’.

Leakes began his business career in a very humble way since all of his plans never prospered as he wanted. She married her wife NeNe, only to find out that she was as well struggling with her acting career. He focused more on helping his wife after which in 2003, her career peaked and she became among the top reality stars.
This was after she joined ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ in 2008, and was cast among the best performing actress. His career also peaked from that moment with his wife as he was even cast as the husband of one of that reality show as well as acting as the voice of reason of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ for which his wife worked there for 8 subsequent years.

However, the couple reunited and announced their engagement in January 2013. Bravo filmed their wedding planning and ceremony for a spin-off entitled ‘I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding’. They remarried on 22 June 2013, at the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta. The reason of his breakup with NeNe in 2010 is still not very clear.

Gregg got diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer as it was confirmed by his wife Nene confirmed in 13 June 2018. She uploaded a photo of him sitting in front of a computer whose screen read “Cancer” with a red line through it. She said, “Our New Normal and the fight begins.” His health issues were documented on RHOA reality show on its November 2017 episode after he was hospitalized for a “dangerously low” heart rate.
