Samantha Win, formerly known as Samantha Jo , is a Canadian actress and martial artist. She is known for her work in the Canadian TV series Mortal Kombat: Legacy (2011) and American films Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021) and Army of the Dead (2021).

Samantha Win Tjhia was born on Friday, March 29, 1991 (age 30 years; as of 2021), in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Her zodiac sign is Aries.
At the age of four, she began learning martial arts as her mother was a black belt in jiu-jitsu. At the age of twelve, she turned to wushu. She trained under Alan Tang. Talking about her coach, she said,
My Wushu coach Alan Tang is just one of the best people in the world. Huge heart and so much to give… he’s my role model.”
She studied at Sunny Tang Martial Arts Center in Toronto and was a member of the Newmarket-based Team Ryouko Martial Arts performance team. She did her schooling at Richmond Hill High School, Canada. As a teen, she studied acting at the Toronto Academy of Acting for Film and Television. After competing in several martial arts competitions, she began working as a stuntwoman for Hollywood and moved to Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, she did her training in acting with some of the many great acting teachers.

Career
She began her career as a child model for several print advertisements for Sears Company around the age of twelve.
She also appeared in several Toy commercials. She also appeared in commercials for KIDZ BOP, a musical group, in 2004.

Martial Arts
From 2004 to 2008, she was a part of the Canadian National Wushu Team. In 2007, she won a bronze medal in Nangun at the World Wushu Championships in Beijing.
During the 2008 Summer Olympics, she contested the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament.

In 2009, she made her debut as a stunts woman with the Canadian television series ‘Aaron Stone.’ She then became a stunt-double for the American actress Daniella Monet in the American TV series Supah Ninjas (2011). Subsequently, she appeared as stunts double in the American TV series; for Carly Chaikin in Suburgatory (2013), Skyler Samuels in Bloodline (2013), and Ming Na Wen in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-15).
