“My job is to hold government officials and area businesses accountable for their actions,” is Dave’s operating principle. “An investigative reporter should be aggressive, tenacious, respectful, and have the ability to tell powerful stories.”

Dave Bohman Age

Bohman’s exact age and date of birth is not yet known to the public. Nevertheless, we are keeping tabs and will update you as soon as this information is available.

Dave Bohman Career and WNEP

Prior to joining Newswatch 16, Dave worked at Television stations in New Mexico, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, and Vermont as a reporter, anchor, and newsroom manager. During his time in Tampa, Florida at WTSP-TV, he covered 8 hurricanes, the contested Presidential election of 2000, and the right-to-die saga of Terry Schiavo.

Dave got into investigative reporting by accident. He was an all-league shortstop at the Governor’s Academy in Massachusetts and went to Syracuse University to study Broadcast Journalism to be a sportscaster. “And a funny thing happened,” he recalls. “I learned I loved playing baseball and watching most sports.

But I never developed a taste for covering sports.” He quickly learned his passion was in the news. That led to an internship with a Syracuse TV station, and a staff reporter position with the school newspaper, which set him on his career path to journalism.

At WNEP-TV, Bohman’s investigations have uncovered corruption that has led to area elected officials to leave office, shady car businesses to close, and state and local governments to change laws and policies.
