She began rapping and releasing her first songs and freestyles in 2009. Furthermore, she began her own label and all-female cooperation in 2013. During this period, she released her first EP known as HoodForeign through Empire after her company.

Miitch was born to parents Venessa White and Brett Roberts. Her father was an adopted refugee from Vietnam , while her mother was born and raised in North Carolina. Her mother moved to New York City from Charlotte with her three daughters.
