Palin enrolled at Wasilla High School, where she was the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as well as a member of the girls’ basketball and cross-country running teams. After graduating from high school back in 1982, she enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. late, after arriving in Hawaii, she relocated moved to Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu for a semester in the fall of the year 1982.
She got back to the mainland, enrolling at North Idaho College, a community college in Coeur d’Alene, for the spring and fall semesters of the year 1983. She then transferred and joined the University of Idaho in Moscow for an academic year begging in August 1984. Beginning in the fall of the year 1985, she joined Matanuska-Susitna College in Alaska.
In January 1986 she got back to the University of Idaho and received her bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism in May 1987.
