Yalda started oof her career in March 2013 where she presented on a special three-part series of Our World entitled, Iraq: Before her career with BBC World News she worked as a presenter at SBS Dateline in Australia. She covered investigation in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province and reporting from Libya during the Arab Spring.
Working at SBS’s Dateline show, she shared stories from the Middle East, the United States, Africa and Europe.
