Pam Moore an American journalist who anchors the KRON 4 Evening News. She joined KRON 4 back in March 1991 as an anchor and general assignment reporter. She has previously worked at WBZ-TV in Boston, where she was an anchor and general assignment reporter. Prior, she was a general assignment reporter at KCBS-T.

Moore received the California Journalism Award from California State University, Sacramento, in the Television Special Feature / Enterprise Reporting category for the ten-part HMO news series, “Who Owns Your Health.”

She was also honored with a 1997 African American Advocates Award for her work mentoring an Oakland public school student and was the first recipient of the 1998 San Francisco NAACP Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Civil Rights Award. In 2001, Moore won the Bay Area Community Service Award for 100 Black Men. The League of Women Voters of San Francisco honored her to be among the “Women Who Could Be President” in 2012.

She currently works as a volunteer with the East Oakland Youth Development Center summer program. She is also a founding board member of Friends of Faith, an organization now operated by the Women’s Cancer Resource Center, supporting low-income and under-insured women diagnosed with breast cancer.
