According to the media sources, Muskkaan hid her family background identity from Madhuri Dixit while shooting for the series. Madhuri came to know that Muskkaan is the daughter of Jagdeep Jaffrey and the sister of Javed Jaffrey many months after working with Muskkaan. In a conversation with a media house, Madhuri stated that Muskkaan did not reveal to her that she was the sister of Madhuri’s co-actor Javed Jaffrey. She said,
We were halfway through the series when I got to know and I was like, ‘Why didn’t you tell me’, and she just said, ‘I want to be known as me’. And that was amazing.”
In 1991, Madhuri Dixit and Javed Jaffrey worked together in 100 days, which was a thriller movie. In this film, they together worked in the song Le Le Dil De De Dil.
