Gaurav Dubey was born on Monday, 5 July 1993 (age 29 years; as of 2022) in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He did his schooling at Central Academy, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. During his school days, he used to perform mimicry acts in various school competitions.

Career
He started his career as a scriptwriter. He once contacted the writer of the Indian reality TV comedy show ‘Comedy Circus’ through Facebook and asked him to let him (Gaurav) work as his assistant. He used to meet various Indian comedians on the show and decided to make a career as a stand-up comedian. He then started performing comic acts at various stage shows and live events. He worked as a comedian in the TV comedy show ‘Comedy Classes’ (2015). The show gained popularity with the role of Selfie Mausi which was played by the Indian comedian Siddharth Sagar.
In 2017, he made his debut as an actor with the SAB TV serial ‘Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo’ in which he played the role of Deepak Tijori.
Gaurav has appeared as a comedian in many TV shows such as ‘Comedy Nights Live’ (2018), ‘Comedy Circus’ (2018), ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’ (2019), and ‘Good Night India’ (2022).
In 2022, Gaurav, along with the Indian comedian Kettan Singh, participated as partners in the TV comedy show ‘India’s Laughter Champion.’
