In March 2020, Abhishek Gowda played for Yuva Paltan, the youth academy of Puneri Paltan, at a Kabaddi tournament organised by the Shivsena committee in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Pro Kabaddi League
In 2022, Abhishek Gowda made his debut in the Pro Kabaddi League with the Jaipur Pink Panthers. He was bought by Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Pro Kabaddi League auction for Rs. 8.78 Lakh as a left cover defender in the New Young Player (NYP) category. He played a total of 18 matches during the tournament. He maintained a tackle strike rate of 33 per cent. He earned 25 points overall in the tournament.
