Adam Kinzinger was born on February 27, 1978, in Kankakee, Illinois. His mother’s name is Betty Jo, an elementary school teacher, and his father named, Rus Kinzinger, a CEO of faith-based organizations.
He spent most of his youth in Jacksonville, Florida, he was primarily raised in Bloomington, Illinois. In 2000, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Illinois State University, after graduating from Normal Community West High School in 1996.
In the 2020 election, Kinzinger secured 65% of the vote to defeat Democrat Dani Brzozowski. On January 4, 2023, Kinzinger joined CNN as a senior political commentator after leaving Congress.
