Career
In 2022, Ajit Pawar was selected by the team ‘Periyar Panthers’ in Krantijyot Mahila Pratishtan Yuva Kabaddi Series (Mens), an inter-district youth league, in which he played at the defender position.
In 2023, Ajit was bought by the team ‘Telugu Titans’ for Rupees 9 lakhs to play in the Pro Kabaddi League, held in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune. He served as the left cover and a defender in the league.

- Ajit Pawar got inclined towards Kabaddi and started playing at the tender age of 14. In an interview, while describing his initial days as a Kabaddi player, he said,
When I decided to take Kabaddi seriously, I did not have a proper kit. I somehow managed to buy shorts worth Rs. 30 from the bazaar and coupled it with my usual T-shirt.”
