He did his schooling at Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre in Kanpur. In 1998, he pursued a Bachelor of Mass Communication in Film/Video and Photographic Arts at Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre in Kanpur. Akashdeep got training in acting from SHABD Theater Group in Mumbai under guru Ramendra Shukla.

Film
In 2016, Akashdeep made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Siddhartha.’ In the 2018 film ‘Mirzapur,’ he played the role of a boy in the laboratory. Akashdeep played the role of Ishaan in the action film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ (2019).
Web Series
Akashdeep made his OTT debut with the web series ‘Inside Edge’ (2017) in which he played the role of Tanay. In 2018, he appeared as Akash on a YouTube TV mini-series titled FilterCopy.
He played the role of Karan in the series ‘Yeh Crazy Dil’ (2018).
In 2018, Akash appeared in the web series ‘Masoom’ alongside actor Boman Irani.
Later, he played the roles of Bala, Sushant, and Chakrapani in the web series ‘Tumse Na Ho Payega’ (2019), ‘Teen Do Paanch’ (2021), and ‘Ratri Ke Yatri’ (2020), respectively.
