Akshay Kelkar is an Indian model and actor, who mainly works in Hindi and Marathi TV serials. He rose to fame with the Marathi film Madhuri (2018). He is the winner of the Indian reality show Bigg Boss Marathi 4.

Akshay Kelkar was born on 16 March in Kalwa, Thane, Maharashtra. He attended Kalwa’s Sahkar Vidya Prasarak Mandal Secondary School and went to L.S. Raheja School of Art, Bandra to pursue a degree in commercial arts. Since his childhood, he wanted to be an art director.

Career

Akshay made his acting debut in 2013 with the Marathi serial “Be Dune Daha” in which he played the role of Kabir. Next, he played the role of  Uday Deshpande in the Colors Marathi serial “Kamala.” Kelkar made his film debut in 2014 with the Marathi film “Premasathi.” He played a supporting role in the film. Next, he was featured in the Marathi film “Kanha.”

In 2016, Akshay appeared in the lead role in the film “College Cafe.” Subsequently, he was featured in “Madhuri.” His performance in both films was liked by the audience.

In addition to films, Kelkar has also been featured in several TV advertisements like TVC of Raj Masala and matrimonial site of Zee Marathi. In 2019, he played the role of Abhishek in the SAB TV’s comedy “Bhakharwadi.” In 2022, he participated in the game reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss Marathi 4.’

In January 2023, he was declared the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi 4.
