Career

Altamash Faridi has participated in several singing competitions and has lent his voice to numerous Bollywood songs. In 2009, he won the musical reality show “Close-Up Performer” on Doordarshan and received an award and a cash prize of one lakh rupees. He also signed a singing contract worth ten lakhs rupees with Rajshri Production.

Altamash continued to showcase his talent in the music industry by competing in various singing competitions like “Music Ka Maha Muqabla” (2010) on StarPlus and “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar” (2010) on Zee TV. He lent his voice to several Bollywood songs like “Babbe Mast” in the 2013 film “What The Fish,” “Sajna Ve Sajna Ve” in “Mickey Virus (2013),” and “Tumko To Aana Hi Tha” in “Jai Ho (2014)” featuring Armaan Malik.

In 2015, Altamash collaborated with other singers like Shadab Faridi and Shashi Suman to sing the song “Aaj Ibaadat” for the movie “Bajirao Mastani.”

In 2020, Altamash released the song “Baras Baras” with singer B Prank, featuring Bhumi Pednekar, and “Subhan Allah” featuring Rashami Desai and Monis Khan in 2021.
