Archana Gautam Budha was born on Friday, 1 September 1995 (age 27 years; as of 2022) in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. According to another source, her date of birth is Wednesday, 1 September 1993 (age 29 years; as of 2022). Her hometown is Nagla Hareroo, Uttar Pradesh. She attended the Shanta Smarak Girls Inter College, Meerut and Ismail Girls National Inter College, Meerut. She did a Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication (2009 – 2012) at I.I.M.T Engineering College, Meerut.

Film

Archana started her acting career with the film ‘Great Grand Masti’ (2016) as Gaav Ki Goori.

She also featured in the Bollywood films Haseena Parkar (2017), Baaraat Company (2017), and Junction Varanasi (2019).

She has appeared in many music videos like Haale Dil (2018), Beinteha (2019), Dynamite (2020), Nasha Zyada (2020), and Buggu oye (2020).

In 2020, she appeared in the Haryanvi song Saans.

Archana made her Tamil film debut with the film Kundas (2021).

Political Career

Archana is a member of the Indian National Congress. She started her political career in November 2021 when she joined the Indian National Congress and was elected from Hastinapur (Assembly constituency) for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. Her party lost the election after the results were announced on 10 March 2022. Reportedly, she was able to bag only 1,519 votes in the 2022 State Legislative Assembly Elections. After losing the election, she tweeted about her loss.

In 2021, she rejoined the Congress party that she had left because she was upset about not being honoured. In an interview, she said that her father asked her to join the party again.

Reality Show

In 2022, she participated in the popular reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 16.’ Later, due to her fight with her co-contestant Shiv Thakare she was evicted from the show by Bigg Boss. Later, the host of the show Salman Khan asked her to re-enter the Bigg Boss house. She charged around Rs 3L per week to participate in Bigg Boss 16.

Wrong comments on Archana’s profession

In 2022, Archana’s name was announced as a candidate from the Hastinapur constituency in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Elections. After her name was announced, she was slut-shamed for the bikini pictures that she had posted on social media. In an interview, Archana talked about this and said,

I represented India in Miss Bikini 2018. I was Miss Uttar Pradesh 2014 & Miss Cosmo World 2018. I request people to not merge my profession in the media industry with my political career.”

Archana’s stand against Tirupati temple management

In 2022, Archana visited the Tirupati temple, but she could not have the darshan of Lord Venkateshwar on the scheduled day. When she asked the management to arrange a quick darshan, she alleged the Tirupati temple management for asking her for Rs. 10,500 for the darshan. She took to social media to talk about the incident and posted a video for the same. Later, the management denied the allegations and said,

They even demanded Rs. 50,000 from her. In an interview, Archana talked about this incident and said,
