Ashley Biles Thomas is a gymnast, dancer and dental hygienist. According to 2016 reports from Radar Online, she pled guilty to drug trafficking charges in 2015, which stemmed from a traffic stop in Delaware County, Ohio in 2014.
Together with her ex-boyfriend and cousin, she was carrying around 90 oxycodone tablets and 60 oxymorphone pills. After serving three days in jail, Biles-Thomas was freed and given four years of probation. She was found herself in trouble once again in April 2019 and was arrested. She faced assault charges. She admitted the crime and received a jail sentence of six months along with two years’ probation.
Most of her jail sentence was suspended. A few weeks before the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, she was taken into custody once more in July. Even at that point, her probation had not ended. She was charged with numerous traffic charges, including DUI, driving while her licence was suspended and fleeing the scene of an accident.
