According to an email sent to CNN, Majors-Raglin’s sister, Kali Majors-Raglin, confirmed the news about her brother.

Who Was Austin Majors?

Austin Majors full name was Austin Setmajer-Raglin. He died on February 11, 2023. It is still under investigation as to what caused the death, according to medical examiner records. He was born on November 23, 1995 in USA. He was 27 years old, at the time of his death.

A statement issued by Majors’ family described him as “an artistic, brilliant, and kind human being. Austin took great joy and pride in his acting career. From the time he was little, he never knew a stranger and his goal in life was to make people happy.”

During his early years, he began acting in television commercials when he was just a toddler. His parents recognized his potential at a very young age and decided to pursue an acting career in order to capitalize on it. He began appearing in commercials as a toddler, and eventually moved on to larger roles in film and television.

Furthermore, talking about his education, he graduated from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and had a passion for directing and music producing. After passing of Austin, his mother wrote, “Austin was the kind of son, brother, grandson, and nephew that made us proud and we will miss him deeply forever”.

Austin Majors In ‘NYPD Blue’

His breakout role came in 1999 with the role of Theo Sipowicz, son of the Detective. This was the debut role for the former child actor. On ABC’s detective drama “NYPD Blue,” Majors played Dennis Franz, played by Andy Sipowicz. According to IMDB, he appeared in 48 episodes from 1999 through 2004.

Austin Majors was 27 years old when he passed away as a result of a struggle with drugs and a state of homelessness. He was battling both at the same time.
