Camilla Cleese is a British comedian, actress, and writer. She is the daughter of the legendary British comedian John Cleese, and she has followed in her father’s footsteps. She has appeared in numerous comedy sketches, films, and television shows, including her own Netflix special. Her stand-up comedy has also been performed at a number of comedy gigs throughout her career, including the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, and the Just For Laughs International Comedy Gala in Sydney. Talking about Camilla Cleese’s family, in 1968, Cleese met Connie Booth in the US and they married in 1968. In 1971, Booth gave birth to their only child, Cynthia Cleese, who went on to appear with her father in his films A Fish Called Wanda and Fierce Creatures. With Booth, Cleese wrote the scripts for and co-starred in both series of Fawlty Towers, although the two were actually divorced before the second series was finished and aired.
There are rumours that Cleese and Booth have remained close friends over the years. It is also known that Cleese shares two grandchildren with Cynthiane Solomon, who is married to writer/director Ed Solomon. He later married American actress Barbara Trentham in 1981. Their daughter Camilla, Cleese’s second child, was born in 1984. He and Trentham divorced in 1990. During this time, Cleese emigrated to Los Angeles.
The couple married in 1992 and after seven years of marriage, they divorced in 2008. In the aftermath of that divorce settlement, Eichelberger had £12 million in finances and assets, which included £600,000 a year for seven years.
