Domestic

She played for Terblanche XI in the 2019 Women’s T20 Super League. She plays for the KwaZulu-Natal Coastal women’s cricket team, a domestic team in South Africa that competes in the Women’s Provincial Programme and the CSA Women’s Provincial T20 Competition.

International

On 5 May 2010, she made her T20I debut against West Indies at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts, a match in which she claimed a wicket with her first delivery, becoming the first cricketer to take a wicket with the first ball of her career in the history of WT20I. She claimed two wickets in her first over of the match.

On 21 October 2011, she made her ODI debut against England at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. On 16 November 2014, she made Test debut against India at Gangothri Glades Cricket Ground, Mysore. She recorded the 6th highest wicket partnership, 142 runs, in the history of WODI along with Suné Luus in a match against Ireland Women on 5 August 2016. Chloe Tryon was appointed as Vice-Captain of the South Africa Women’s team ahead of the World Cup 2017. In March 2018, she was awarded a national contract by Cricket South Africa ahead of the 2018–19 season. In October 2018, she was named to South Africa’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies. In July 2022, she was named to South Africa’s squad for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. She was named the Player of the Match in a match against New Zealand during the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Chloe helped South Africa bounce back from an opening-day defeat with a 65-run win over New Zealand in their second game of the world cup.

In 2023, she was bought by the franchise team Mumbai Indians for the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL). Mumbai Indians won the tournament, beating Delhi Capitals by seven wickets.
