Dhara Vijay Gujjar was born on Sunday, 18 August 2002 (age 20 years; as of 2022) in Behala, Kolkata, West Bengal. Her zodiac sign is Leo. She was an ardent cricket fan since childhood and played cricket with the neighbours’ kids in her complex. After completing her tenth-grade examinations, she pursued her senior secondary schooling through open schooling. She pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree at the Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata, West Bengal. She joined the Vivekananda Cricket Academy in West Bengal at the age of ten and played her first match with the district team in the same year.

Dhara Gujjar has represented Bengal Under-19 Women, Rajasthan Club Women, East Zone Under-19 Women, Bengal Under-23 Women, Mohun Bagan AC Women, India C Women, India B Women, East Zone Women, and Bengal Women at the domestic level. In 2017, Dhara was named to the Bengal Under-19 Women’s team and was later named vice-captain in the same year. She scored 12 runs in her debut match against the Assam Under-19 team. Following her consistent performances for the Bengal Under-19 team, she got selected for the East Zone Under-19 team in 2017. In 2018, she got selected for a cricket camp managed by the National Cricket Academy. Gujjar suffered three injuries, including a shin stress fracture in 2018. She was the captain of the Bengal Under-19 team when they won the 2018-2019 One-Day league. In 2019, she captained her team and scored 34 runs from 29 balls in the final of the Kolkata Cup 2019, organized by the Pal & Chatterjee Cricket Academy.

She made her debut for the Bengal Under-23 team in 2019, and later in the same year, she was selected to the Bengal Women’s team and was named vice-captain of the senior team. On 3 November 2021, she scored 115 runs from 148 balls against the Himachal Pradesh Women’s cricket team during the Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy in Bengaluru; this was her maiden century and Bengal won by 200 runs. Dhara was instrumental in Bengal’s victory over the Delhi Women’s team in the quarter-final of the Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy (2021-2022); she scored 75 runs and caught the catch of Laxmi Yadav. Gujjar scored 355 runs from six matches in the 2021-2022 Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy with a strike rate of 67.23. In November 2021, she was named to the India C Women’s squad for the 2021 Senior Women’s One-Day Challenger Trophy; she played in all three matches of the tournament and scored 53 runs. Dhara was named captain of the Rajasthan Club Women for the inaugural season (2022) of the Bengal Women’s T20; Rajasthan Club reached the final of the tournament.

Blast She was part of the India B Women’s team for the Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy (2022-2023) and scored 40 runs from three matches. In November 2022, ahead of the second season of the Bengal Women’s T20, the Cricket Association of Bengal announced that Dhara was appointed as the captain of Mohun Bagan AC Women. Gujjar scored 207 runs in the 2022-2023 Senior Women’s T20 Trophy and was her team’s top scorer; she scored 32 runs for Bengal in the final against the Railways Women. In 2022, she was named to the East Zone Women’s team for the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal One Day Trophy (2022-2023). On 19 February 2023, she scored 73 runs from 99 balls and took a catch against the West Zone team; she scored 150 runs from five matches. On 23 January 2023, she scored 161 runs against the Pondicherry team in the Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy (2022-2023).

Women’s Premier League (WPL)

In 2023, Dhara was signed by the Mumbai Indians ahead of the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL).

On 12 March 2023, she debuted against the UP Warriorz Women; however, she did not bat or bowl against them. She was named to the playing eleven against the Gujarat Giants Women and scored one run. On 18 March 2023, she scored three runs against the UP Warriorz Women before she was bowled by Deepti Sharma. She won the Women’s Premier League Cup in her debut season with the Mumbai Indians.

In February 2023, she was signed by the Mumbai Indians for Rs. 10 Lakhs for the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League.
