He got married to Lagan Randhawa of Amritsar on 15 March 2023 in Sirsa, Haryana. She is the daughter of Raminder Kaur and Deepkaran Singh Randhawa, a real estate developer. She is the granddaughter of Sawinder Singh Kathunangal, former Congress MLA from Majithia, Punjab. The couple got engaged in January 2023, and the ring ceremony was done on 13 March 2023. Politics

He joined Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) formally in December 2018. He contested the bye-elections from the Jind constituency in Haryana legislative assembly as an independent candidate in 2019 and came second with 37,648 votes. He contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Sonipat, Haryana from JJP and came third with 51,162 votes. He is an active campaigner of JJP.
