Georgia Holt (Jackie Jean Crouch) an American retired singer-songwriter, actress, and former model. She is known for her role in I Love Lucy (1951), The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1952) and Jane Wyman Presents The Fireside Theatre (1955). She is also known as the mother of singer and actress Cher.

Holt sterted off her singing career at an Oklahoma City radio station at the age of six, and by the age of ten, she began performing with bandleader Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. She earned a number of talent and beauty contests. Back in the 1950s, she as well had a few small television and film appearances.
She got booked by Mike Douglas, Merv Griffin, and Dinah Shore to feature on their television talk shows after he performed in a singers’ workshop (Phil Moore’s “Get Your Act Together”) in July 1978 at Studio One in Los Angeles.
As of July 4–8, 1988, she featuredon the American game show Card Sharks as part of a group of ten mothers of popular celebrities as an audience polling participant.
Dear Mom, Love Cher, a Lifetime documentary about her that was executive produced by her daughter Cher, and got released in 2013. She as well released Honky Tonk Woman in 2013, which was filmed in 1982.
Holt and Cher featured on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2013 to promote Holt’s album Honky Tonk Woman and the documentary Dear Mom, Love Cher. Holt as well with her grandson Chaz Bono featured in episode 9 of Rupaul’s Drag Race’s sixth season in 2014 for a talk show-themed challenge.
