Giuliana Rancic (name Giuliana DePandi) an Italian born American television personality, and a co-host of E! News on E! network alongside Jason Kennedy.
Giuliana began her career, while still studying at the American University, at Capitol Hill news bureau where she covered stories related to the U.S. government. She created and was the executive producer of MTV’s Celebrity Rap Superstar, which premiered in 2007.

In August 2012 Giuliana and Bill Rancic had their son, Edward Duke Rancic, via gestational carrier. Prior to the birth of their son the duo had publicly discussed their fertility issues on television talk shows. They tried to conceive since the beginning of 2009.
In March 2010 they began in vitro fertilization (IVF) and Rancic got pregnant in the spring of 2010, but she miscarried at nine weeks. In November 2010 she had an IVF transfer for a second time but the procedure did not result in a pregnancy.
During her third trial for IVF, her doctor recommended she undergo mammogram which is how she found out she had breast cancer. Despite her condition, she continued with the egg retrieval and found a surrogate.

Giuliana got diagnosed with breast cancer when her doctor recommended a mammogram after she tried a third round of IVF. She announced her diagnosis back on 17th October 2011 during an interview on Today. She announced that she would undergo double lumpectomy followed by radiation. In the mid-October 2011 she underwent surgery and returned to work at E! News about a week later. On 5th December 2011, she disclosed that she had decided to undergo a bilateral mastectomy.
In 2013 she founded “Fab-U-Wish,” a program to grant fashion, beauty and celebrity-themed wishes to women battling breast cancer.

Back in 1996 Rancic graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park. She as well earned a masters degree in Journalism from American University. She later joined and graduated from Barbizon Modeling and Acting School.
