In 2017, Gulveer Singh got selected as a raider in the Lucknow-based kabaddi team ‘UP Yoddhas’ for season 5 of the Pro Kabaddi League. He played a total of 4 matches in the season in which he scored 3 points along with a 38% of raid strike rate. In 2019, Gulveer became part of the Uttar Pradesh squad to play in the 66th Senior National Kabaddi Championship which was held in Roha, Raigad, Maharashtra.

In 2022, he was again retained by the team ‘UP Yoddhas’ for season 9 of the Pro Kabaddi League in which he scored 2 points along with a tackle strike rate of 200%.
