Misbehaving and Promoting Gun Culture
Gurpreet Kaur and Sehaj were once in the news when they had an argument with a customer over the quality of the food. They were later accused of promoting gun culture on social media.
Leaked Private Video
In September 2023, a private video of Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur surfaced on social media. Sehaj then filed an FIR and addressed the situation by stating that the video was fake and created through an AI tool on one of his social media accounts. During the police investigations, a woman who used to work for Sehaj was arrested. It was revealed that after this woman created a fake Instagram account, she contacted the couple on 7 September 2023 and demanded a ransom of Rs. 20,000 by threatening to circulate their morphed video. The police stated that the woman had done this to seek revenge on the couple for terminating her employment. Sehaj also accused a YouTuber named Karan Dutta of playing a role in circulating the video. On 26 September 2023, Sehaj Arora, through a post on social media, claimed that he and his wife were facing political pressure to settle the matter. He further appealed for the public’s support and stated their decision not to settle the matter.
