Hamza Saleen Dar was born in Gujrat city of Punjab, Pakistan. As per one source, he was born on Tuesday, 25 July 1995 (age 28 years; as of 2023), and as per another source, he was born on Sunday, 25 June 1995 (age 28 years; as of 2023). He did his schooling at Municipal Model High School, Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan.
He studied at the Government Graduate College of Commerce, Gujarat, Pakistan. He later moved to Spain and pursued graduation at the University of Barcelona (also known as Universitat de Barcelona). He was interested in playing cricket since childhood and later became a professional cricketer.

Hamza Saleen Dar started playing cricket for the Spanish clubs, mainly in Badalona, Barcelona, Spain. He later played for Badalona Shaheen Cricket Club and Pak Montcada Cricket Club in the T10 Catalunya Cup.
In the European Cricket Series in 2023 held in T10 format, he played for Catalunya Jaguar (CJ) and made many records. On 5 December 2023, he scored 193 runs (not out) against Sohal Hospitalet (SOH) in 43 balls at a strike rate of 449, which included 22 sixes and 14 fours.

He has also played for Pak Youngster CC and Ripoll Warriors CC in different seasons of Liga Catalana De Cricket. He played for Vitoria Cricket Club in the 2023 Glasgow Cup. He has also played for Montcada Royal.

T20I
Hamza Saleen Dar played his debut T20I match on 17 August 2019 against Finland at Kerava National Cricket Ground in Kerava, Finland and scored 8 runs. On 11 September 2021, he made his first T20I fifty by scoring 59 runs (not out) against Germany. In the European Championship held in Cártama (Málaga) in 2023, he became the Most Valuable Player (MVP) by scoring 354 runs and taking 14 wickets in the tournament, helping Spain win the Bronze medal.
