Hazel Hurt used to live in Hot Springs, Arkansas and her home was located in Mountain Pine, Arkansa. She single handly raised Bobby, with the help of maternal grandmother.

She was married with her first husband, whose name has been not revealed till date. Duo was together until the birth of Bobby, and then on left the family.

Furthermore, Bones began dreaming of a radio career around the age of 5. His mother died at age 49 after battling addiction problems in 2014. He grew up poor, and often viewed radio as a way of escaping poverty.

At the age of 17, Bones began his radio career at the campus station of Henderson State University, KSWH-FM “The Pulse”. Later on in 2002, he graduated with a B.A. in Radio/Television from Henderson.

He released his first book entitled Bare Bones, I’m Not Lonely If You’re Reading This Book, in 2016. Also, in 2018, he was considering a run for governor of Arkansas. He hosted the USA Network competition series Snake in the Grass, in 2022. Bones married Caitlin Parker, in July 2021.
