Career
In 2021, Himanshu played in the 47th Junior Nationals Kabaddi Championship for the Chandigarh team. In 2022, he represented the Sindh Sonics team as a left raider in the summer edition of the 2022 Yuva Kabaddi Series in which he played seven matches and earned a total of 118 points. In May 2023, he represented Guru Kashi University at the Khelo India University Games 2022. He, along with Himanshu Yadav, lifted the trophy after winning the Kabaddi championship at the 2022 Khelo India University Games.
In 2022, he was inducted as a new young talent into the Tamil Thalaivas team at the Pro Kabaddi League auction for rupees 8.8 lakhs. He then went on to play 3 matches in the ninth season of the Pro Kabaddi League and maintained a strike rate of 60%. In October 2023, he was retained by the Tamil Thalaivas.
