Hussain Kuwajerwala is an Indian actor, dancer and anchor. He is best known for playing the role of ‘Sumit Wadhwa’ in the TV serial “Kumkum.”

Hussain Kuwajerwala was born on Wednesday, 12 October 1977 (age 42 years; as in 2019) in Mumbai. His zodiac sign is Libra.
He did his schooling from Mumbai’s Fatima High School and went to Jai Hind College to pursue B.Sc. Hussain had lost his father at a very tender age. He was good at studies in his school days and worked hard for his board exams as he wanted to take admission in a good college. He was passionate about theatre since his school days and always wanted to become an actor. While in college, Hussain used to participate in a lot of stage shows and dance competitions.

Hussain Kuwajerwala belongs to a Muslim Family. He is the son of Late Kayyam Kuwajerwala and Sakina Kuwajerwala. He has a brother, Qaeed Kuwajerwala (director) and a sister, Nafisa Kuwajerwala.
Hussain met Tina Darira for the first time in the final year of their college. Hussain and Tina had the same friend circle and one of their friends played cupid for them. The couple dated each other for 9 years before tying the knot on 21 December 2005.
Career
Hussain Kuwajerwala started his career as a model by doing various campaigns and TV commercials. He made his acting debut in 1996 with the TV serial “Hum Paanch” in which he played the role of ‘Gattu.’ Subsequently, he appeared in the TV serials like “Aashirwad,” “Rishtey,” “Star Bestsellers,” and “Kangan.” He came into the spotlight by playing the role of ‘ Chirag Virani’ in the TV serial “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.” Next, he bagged the role of ‘Arjun,’ a detective in Star Plus’ show “Krishna Arjun.”
In 2002, Hussain gained immense popularity by playing the role of ‘Sumit Wadhwa’ in the TV serial “Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan.”
He has hosted many famous reality shows like “Khullja Sim Sim,” “Indian Idol,” “Nach Baliye,” and “India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj.”
In 2006, Kuwajerwala, along with his wife, Tina Kuwajerwala, won the season 2 of the dance reality show “Nach Baliye.”

He made his film debut in 2013 with the Bollywood film “Shree.” Hussain has also been a part of the musical play “Kingdom Of Dreams.”
