Jackky Bhagnani made his acting debut with the film ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’ (2001) in which he made a short appearance. He made his debut as a lead actor in 2009 with the film ‘Kal Kissne Dekha.’ The film failed to run at the box office and received negative reviews. In 2011, he played the role of Ritesh Virani in the film ‘F.A.L.T.U,’ which performed well at the box office.
He essayed the role of Rajveer Grewal in the 2012 film ‘Ajab Gazabb Love.’ In 2013, he played the role of Rishi Deshpande in the film ‘Rangrezz,’ directed by Priyadarshan. In the film, Jackky Bhagnani was seen dancing on the song “Gangnam Style” by Psy. His father, Vashu Bhagnani, who also produced the film, bought the rights to use the song. The amount he paid for it wasn’t disclosed.
In 2014, he appeared as Prime Minister Abhimanyu Kaul in the film ‘Youngistaan.’ The film received critical feedback and was a commercial flop. In 2020, he worked as a co-producer alongside Deepshikha Deshmukh, Saif Ali Khan, and Jay Shewakramani for the film ‘Jawaani Jaaneman.’
He co-produced the Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.’ The film was scheduled to be released in April 2024. In 2019, Jackky launched his music label ‘Jjust Music.’ The first single by the music label was titled ‘Prada’ (2019), which was sung by the singer-songwriter duo ‘The Doorbeen’ and Shreya Sharma. Many popular artists including Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, Darshan Raval, Jasleen Royal, Lijo George, and DJ Chetas have collaborated with the label.
In the same year, he launched his second business venture ‘Jjust Kids.’ It is a digital platform which is designed for children, intending to engage them through music and other events. ‘Jjust Kids’ makes videos that help teach toddlers things like the alphabet, numbers, animal sounds, colours, and more.
During the 2020 lockdown due to COVID-19, Jackky released the song ‘Muskurayega India’ through his label ‘Jjust Music,’ in collaboration with Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films. The video song features several prominent personalities including Tiger Shroff, Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao, Sidharth Malhotra, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani.

Rape Allegations
In 2021, a 28-year-old former model lodged a police complaint at the Bandra station in Mumbai against nine personalities from Bollywood, including Jackky Bhagnani. She accused them of raping and molesting her from 2014 to 2019. She claimed that she was sexually harassment under the pretence of receiving opportunities to act. Based on her complaint, the police registered a case against Bhagnani and others under Section 376 (committing rape repeatedly on the same woman) and 354 (molestation) of the Indian Penal Code.
